300 Hour Teacher Training
Pure Flow™ Intenion
With the 200 Hour foundation for successful teaching set in place, the time comes to expand and refine. The Pure Flow™ 300 hour teacher training program provides mentorship with a senior level teacher, a cumulative project designed to bring the trainee to new depths of knowledge in their chosen subject, and the unique opportunity for the trainee to choose his or her own path on this part of the journey.
Once enrolled in the 300 hour program, you will begin to participate in an ongoing series of week day or weekend workshops, ranging in topics such as yoga for kids, specifics of Ayurveda, advanced asana, teaching to beginners, yoga philosophy, effective pranayama, and many more. You will choose the workshops you wish to attend and be free to forgo those which do not fall under your category of interest… If you never plan to teach pre-natal yoga, for example, you may skip that workshop. All you need to do is complete your total workshop series, and the additional requirements outlined below, within a year of enrollment. Flexibility separates the Pure Flow™ 300 hour teacher training from many others!
In addition to the weekend workshops, you will also apprentice with a senior teacher from Pure Flow™. You will assist your mentor teacher’s classes and/or master classes/workshops on a regular basis and participate in weekly, one-on-one mentor meetings to discuss your progress in training, your personal practice, and your intellectual-philosophical development.
Your 300 hour training will culminate in a final project that will bring together all aspects of your training into a cohesive presentation to be given to the current Pure Flow™ trainees. The sky is the limit on this project, and you will have all the guidance you need from your mentor teacher.
Upon completion of all requirements, you will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance at the 500 Hour Level.
This program includes:
• Specifically themed workshops that deepen and expand upon the 200hr foundation.
• Mentorship with a senior yoga teacher.
• Assisting a senior yoga teacher.
• Final Project developed with a senior teacher.
• Comprehensive knowledge, assimilation and cultivation of yoga teacher Development.

PREREQUISITES
Yoga Teachers must have completed a 200 hour teacher training program and be RYT 200 to enroll in the
Advanced Pure Flow Yoga Teacher Training 300 Hour program.
TUITION
Tuition includes Pure Flow training sessions, training materials, mentor meetings, and free attendance at Elinore Cohen’s regularly scheduled classes at The Springs Studio throughout the duration of your 300 hour teacher training program. Reading list books not included. Non-refundable/non-transferable deposit of $500 is included in initial tuition payment.

Cancellations received on or before 9/7/15 will be charged a $500 cancellation fee. Notice of cancellation must be received in writing to Elinore@ElinoreCohenYoga.com by 9/20/15. ***No refunds will be issued after 9/25/15.***
What about books? Are they included in the training price?
You will receive two very detailed student manuals which are included in the training price. Homework assignments are given weekly and will require reading from other books selected by your teacher, but it may not be necessary for you to purchase all of them. We have found that our trainees are happy to share many of their materials; the local library has all of them as well
How will I know if I’m accepted?
The first step to acceptance is always a conversation. Depending on your current relationship with our studio, your acceptance could be immediate and in-person. If you are unfamiliar with Pure Flow™ teacher training program, you may wish to get on the phone, or begin an email dialogue, with one of our staff to discuss the general requirements, then come to a class led by your teacher, and go from there. We are open to everyone who has an open heart!
Do I have to be an advanced yogi to enter Pure Flow™ Teacher Training?No! Remember, Pure Flow™ teacher training program is for practitioners who wish to deepen their practice, as well as for those who wish to teach someday. If you have a regular yoga practice and possess the maturity required to delve deeply into a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual learning experience, this program is for you! Please feel free to speak with us if you have any concerns about your own readiness.
How many students participate in each training?
We keep it small in order to foster individual attention. You will become a close-knit group of loving yogis!
What if I miss a class?
Not to worry. While we would like you to be present for every session of your training, we understand that everyone has a life, three months contain a lot of weekends, and sometimes it’s impossible to be at every meeting. Just be up front about absences with your teacher. Usually you will just make up the missed portion of your training in a subsequent series-training program. Your eligibility to register with Yoga Alliance may be delayed, but it’s nothing serious.
How long does the homework take?
It takes as long as it takes… Enjoy the reading and writing processes. Your completion of the assignments (which are thoughtfully designed by your teacher to align with the progression of the program) is necessary for your eventual certification. There is no letter grading, so there is no need to stress about making your writing perfect. Just make it thoughtful.
Will I be ready to teach yoga once I complete the 200 hour teacher training program?
Most definitely. Every one of our graduates has been amazed at their readiness to teach this sacred practice to others once they finished the program! We have had several trainees who have gone through other, more widely known 200 hour programs, only to graduate without the confidence to teach. Once they came through Pure Flow™ teacher training program that was a different story…not only were they ready, but they LOVED teaching!
